CVS Health seeks a Staff Engineer to lead architecture, development and scaling of core applications, bridging backend data systems, AI, and frontend experiences. You will design dashboards, build microservices, and drive AI‑enabled features while guiding teams.

This hands‑on leader will champion DevOps, IaC, and secure, scalable delivery, mentoring engineers and shaping the technical roadmap across the stack. You will communicate decisions to technical and business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on full‑stack development.
• Strong architecture, scalable applications, and data integration know‑how.
• Hands‑on experience integrating AI models and APIs into software products.
• Proficiency with cloud platforms and DevOps toolchains.
• Ability to translate complex requirements into technical solutions and communicate decisions clearly.

Responsibilities

• Architecture & full‑stack development of scalable web apps from frontend to backend.
• Design rich dashboards and data visualizations surface insights effectively.
• Build secure APIs and data integration layers with diverse data sources.
• Lead AI enablement and orchestrate AI features in core products.
• Advance MFT and complex orchestration, error handling, and monitoring.
• Drive DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and IaC across the stack.
• Mentor engineers and align technical roadmap with product goals.
• Ensure operational excellence and effective incident root‑cause analysis.
