Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Staff Engineer to lead architecture, development, and scaling of core applications, bridging backend data systems, AI capabilities, and frontend experiences. You will drive design of dashboards, microservices, and third-party integrations.

As a hands-on technical leader, you will guide DevOps, cloud infrastructure, and AI-enabled features, mentor teams, and ensure operational excellence across the stack while aligning with product strategy.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in software engineering with full-stack focus.
• Proficient in modern JS/TS frameworks and data viz libraries.
• Experience designing scalable microservices and APIs.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or MongoDB and ORMs.
• Hands-on AI model integration and LangChain familiarity.
• Cloud expertise (AWS/Azure/GCP) and CI/CD with Terraform.
• Excellent communication of architecture to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design and development of scalable web apps.
• Architect dashboards and data visualization interfaces.
• Develop secure REST/GraphQL APIs and data integrations.
• Champion AI features and orchestration within products.
• Oversee CI/CD, Docker/Kubernetes, and IaC practices.
• Mentor engineers and define coding standards.
