Job summary
Valon is hiring a Senior Software Engineer in the United States to help build and operate the AI-native platform for regulated mortgage servicing. You’ll join a world-class team with a Python/React stack, Docker, Kubernetes, and Google Cloud Platform, developing scalable backend and frontend features at scale.
You will partner with Product and Design to craft customer-centric experiences while navigating complex federal, state, and agency regulations.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of software engineering experience building quality software at scale.
- Strong communicator with the ability to influence across teams.
- Able to work cross-functionally to balance product and technical requirements.
- Experience building scalable systems from scratch with fast turnaround.
- Experience with web application development, mobile development, distributed systems, or infrastructure management.
Responsibilities
- Learn new concepts and technologies quickly and apply them to challenging problems.
- Design and build robust infrastructure to handle evolving regulations across federal, state, and agency requirements.
- Dive deep to understand the inner workings of a highly complex industry.
- Work with Product and Design to define the best experience for customers.
