Job summary

Valon is building an AI-native operating system for regulated finance, starting with mortgage servicing. The engineering team powers a modern mortgage servicing platform capable of handling billions in loans, with autonomy to learn and impact the business.

We use Python, React, Docker, Kubernetes, and Google Cloud Platform. Offices in NYC and SF, with full remote support. Location options include New York, San Francisco, or remote.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software engineering experience building quality software at scale.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science preferred.
• Experience with web/mobile apps and distributed systems a plus.
• Ability to design scalable systems with fast turnaround.

Responsibilities

• Design and build robust infrastructure to handle evolving regulations.
• Dive deep to understand a highly complex industry.
