Job summary

Valon, based in New York City with a new office in San Francisco, offers fully remote options and a modern mortgage servicing platform. Our engineering team builds with Python, React, Docker, Kubernetes, and Google Cloud Platform to scale vast loan portfolios while maintaining regulatory compliance.

We’re hiring a Software Engineer with at least 1 year of experience in scalable software, capable of cross-functional collaboration with product and design, and legally eligible to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in CS or related field.
• At least 1 year of software engineering experience building quality software at scale.
• Experience with web/mobile app development or large-scale distributed systems.
• Legal ability to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Learn new concepts quickly and apply to challenging problems.
• Design and build robust infrastructure to handle evolving and complex regulations.
• Dive deep into the inner workings of a highly complex industry.
• Work with Product and Design to define the best experience for our customers.
