Job summary

Hillview Consulting Solutions is seeking an experienced Staff Software Engineer to lead the design and development of scalable enterprise applications while driving AI adoption across engineering teams. This hands-on leadership role focuses on architecture, mentoring, and delivering high-quality software.

You will guide backend services, APIs, and modern web apps, with emphasis on distributed systems, cloud platforms, and AI-powered workflows.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Backend development with C#, Node.js, Java, or similar OO languages.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices, RESTful APIs, and scalable architecture.
• Experience with public cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud).
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI using LLMs, AI orchestration frameworks, or autonomous AI workflows.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, Infrastructure as Code, and modern software delivery methodologies.
• Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and development of enterprise-scale full-stack applications.
• Design scalable backend services, APIs, and modern web applications.
• Build and integrate AI-powered solutions, including intelligent automation and LLM-based workflows.
• Drive engineering best practices for architecture, code quality, testing, security, and deployment.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Business stakeholders to translate objectives into technical solutions.
• Improve application performance, reliability, scalability, and resilience.
• Mentor engineering teams and provide technical leadership across multiple projects.
• Evaluate and introduce modern development frameworks and cloud technologies.
