GE Vernova's Applied Grid Innovation team seeks a Staff Software Engineer to build backend platforms and AI agent frameworks for next-generation grid management. You will design distributed services, work with SCADA/PMU data streams, and ensure production-grade reliability.

This senior individual contributor role emphasizes system architecture, secure and scalable on-prem deployments, and collaboration with data scientists, power engineers, and DevOps to move AI-driven solutions from prototype

Qualificações

• 5+ years in backend or distributed systems.
• Proficiency in Python and at least one other backend language.
• Experience designing microservices, REST/gRPC APIs, and event-driven architectures.
• Hands-on AI/ML production systems experience.
