Job summary
GridCARE, Inc. is hiring a Senior Software Engineer, Platform for its hybrid team in Redwood City, CA.
You will build the shared backend foundations to turn grid intelligence into products, including secure APIs, tenant-aware authorization, and integrations with job orchestration systems. You will work with a cross-functional team to move capabilities from architecture through production, guiding design reviews and mentoring peers.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant software engineering experience building shared backend capabilities for a multi-tenant product.
- Strong Python engineering skills with production APIs and services.
- Experience with multi-tenant authorization and secure access controls.
- Experience with relational databases, queues, and cloud services.
Responsibilities
- Build the API platform using managed gateway and identity services.
- Partner on job orchestration and integration with shared platform services.
- Ensure dependable authorization and tenant isolation across APIs and data interfaces.
- Create reusable APIs, libraries, and templates for developers and AI agents.
- Maintain production systems with observability and reliability.
