Job summary

GridUnity is seeking a Senior Power System Engineer to build and validate AI-assisted study capabilities for generation and large load interconnection. This role focuses on power flow, contingency analysis, and model preparation using scripting and automation to improve engineering productivity.

You will collaborate with software and AI teams, translate study procedures into repeatable workflows, review outputs against reference cases, and contribute to QA/QC and reporting.

Qualifications

• PhD required in Electrical Engineering focusing on Power Systems.
• Strong foundation in power system modeling, power flow, and dynamics.
• Experience with interconnection studies in the U.S. and familiarity with ISOs/RTOs.

Responsibilities

• Develop automated workflows for interconnection studies.
• Prepare models, run simulations, extract results, and generate reports.
• Validate outputs against engineering expectations and reference cases.
• Collaborate with software/AI teams and document methods and results.
