Job summary

Facility Grid is hiring a senior engineer to lead design and implementation of an agentic product suite and the AI platform underneath it. You will set direction for how agents are built, evaluated, and shipped, while also modernizing a legacy PHP/Angular layer.

This is a hands-on staff role with high autonomy and daily coding through directing agents. Fully remote in the United States, the role offers ownership over critical AI features, and you will work with a small, growing team on modern

Qualifications

• Ownership: own problems end to end without being asked and ship to production.
• Curiosity about code: understand the whole system and read unfamiliar code well.
• Forward-looking engineering: agent-first with evolving tools; adapt quickly.
• Technical fundamentals: reason about distributed systems and defend trade-offs.

Responsibilities

• Design and build the agentic product suite from prototype to production.
• Build the AI platform: evaluation, guardrails, context management, harnesses.
• Set standards for AI feature design, testing, rollout; align the team.
• Modernize the legacy PHP/Angular application.
• Evaluate new models and tooling; stay model-independent.
