Job summary

Facility Grid LLC is seeking a senior engineer to lead the design and implementation of an agentic product suite atop our system of record, plus the AI platform that supports it. You will also guide modernization of a legacy PHP/Angular stack, while maintaining hands-on leadership and daily coding.

You will shape how agents are built, evaluated, and shipped, with autonomy to decide techniques and tooling. This is a senior, staff-level role with responsibility for end-to-end delivery.

Qualifications

• Ownership: you own problems end to end and are accountable for what you ship.
• Curiosity about code: you understand the whole system and read unfamiliar code well.
• Forward-looking engineering: you work agent-first with evolving tools and harnesses.
• Technical fundamentals: you can reason about distributed systems and trade-offs.

Responsibilities

• Design and build the agentic product suite from prototype to production.
• Build the AI platform: evaluation, guardrails, context management, and agent harnesses.
• Set standards for AI features: design, test, and rollout with the team.
• Modernize the legacy PHP/Angular applications.
• Evaluate new models and tooling and adopt the best options.
