Snap Inc. is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join the Ad Signals and Measurement team in NYC.

You will build the next generation of signals and measurement systems for Snap’s ad platform and work end-to-end with engineers, product teams and advertisers to deliver scalable, reliable solutions. You’ll influence technical direction across the company, apply best practices for availability, security, and cost, and collaborate with ML teams to integrate AI tools while ensuring production‑ready

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 9+ years of software development experience; or Master’s degree with 8+ years of experience; or PhD with 5+ years of experience.
• Experience as a technical lead, domain expert or owner of complex technical initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Build the next generation of signals and measurement systems for Snap’s ad platform.
• Work end-to-end across stack with experimentation, analysis and optimization.
• Collaborate with product, engineering and advertisers to deliver scalable solutions.
• Ensure 3p signals are used to drive ROI and measurement across services.
• Advocate for availability, scalability, and cost management best practices.
• Provide technical direction that influences the entire company.
• Support Snap’s performance advertising suite across teams.
• Utilize AI tools and high-velocity engineering workflows to ship scalable, production‑ready code.
