Job summary

Snap Inc. is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join the Ad Signals and Measurement team. You will build next-generation signals and measurement systems for Snap's ad platform, working end-to-end across the stack to drive ROI and scalability.

You will collaborate with cross-functional partners, advocate for reliability and cost efficiency, and provide technical direction across the company while applying AI-enabled approaches to high-velocity engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 9+ years of software development experience; or Master’s degree with 8+ years; or PhD with 5+ years.
• Experience as a technical lead, domain expert or owner of complex technical initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Build the next generation of signals and measurement systems for Snap’s ad platform.
• Work end-to-end across stack with experimentation, analysis and optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and deliver solutions.
• Work with advertisers to ensure 3p signals are fully utilized and ROI is measurable.
• Provide technical direction that influences the entire company and ensure scalable, cost-aware infrastructure.
• Apply best practices for availability, scalability, and production-ready code.
