How You’ll Make an Impact

We're seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join our high-performing engineering team. In this impactful role, you'll design, develop, and deploy innovative data solutions demonstrating the power of ML for our direct mail, social media, search, and digital marketing platforms. You'll collaborate closely with data scientists, product managers, and other engineering teams to architect and implement scalable, cloud-based solutions that drive Epsilon's mission forward.

What You'll Achieve

  • Build the Future:Partner with data scientists to design, develop, and deploy sophisticated ML algorithms into production-ready applications.
  • Architect Scalable Solutions:Design and implement robust data pipelines and software solutions, working closely with engineering and DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration.
  • Champion Best Practices: Lead by example, driving standard processes for application development and mentoring junior team members.
  • Embrace the Cloud:As an AWS expert, you'll play a key role in migrating and optimizing our applications within the AWS ecosystem.
  • Drive Innovation: Contribute to the continuous improvement of our platform by finding opportunities for enhancement and writing clear, concise stories (requirements) to guide development.

Who you Are

  • What You’ll Bring with You:
    • 7+ years of software development experience in highly scalable, linux-based distributed environments.
    • Proven expertise in Java, Python, C/C++, and a strong track record of building data-driven solutions at scale.
    • Extensive experience with cloud-based software development in AWS, including infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using Terraform.
    • Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and workflow management tools (Airflow).
    • Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in sprint cycles.
    • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to take ownership of complex technical challenges.
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills, enabling you to effectively interact with multi-functional teams and partners.

    • Experience with advanced machine learning techniques and integrating them into production environments.
    • A passion for improving data pipelines (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Databricks) to solve complex business problems.

Base Salary: $140,000 - $170,000

Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon, but not limited to the individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location and application employment laws. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
