Staff Engineer JD:

As a Staff Software Engineer, you will work on features end-to-end (backend & frontend) using technologies such as RoR, Java, GoLang, Angular, React, Redis, and PostgreSQL. You will develop products that can change the logistics landscape and are used by some of the biggest corporations worldwide. You will also develop integrations with strategic partners to expand our ecosystem and collaborate with our US team and customers to develop features that shape the logistics and supply chain industry.

Who you are:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science & Engineering or a related field from a reputed institution.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in Software Engineering and Web application development.
• Good understanding of software design, microservices architecture, object-oriented principles, and design patterns.
• Experience with designing and developing high-quality software/services using RoR, Golang, or Java.
• Good knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Strong understanding of Java, Spring Framework, and object-oriented programming principles.
• Experience with cloud services such as Azure, AWS, or similar.
• Experience with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Git and Agile tools like JIRA & Confluence.
• Experience with Agile SDLC.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

What you’ll be doing:

• Design, architect, implement, test, and optimize high-quality software/services using RoR, Golang, or Java.
• Partner with product managers to analyze requirements and plan engineering execution.
• Document architecture and design for knowledge sharing and scalability.
• Perform code and design reviews.
• Implement comprehensive unit and component tests.
• Mentor peers and cross-train team members.
• Apply expertise in performance, security, scalability, and architecture best practices.
• Decompose complex problems into simple solutions.
• Collaborate with UX designers on responsive UI components.
• Work with SQL and NoSQL data stores, writing intermediate SQL queries.
• Build web application backends using Java Spring Boot or similar frameworks.
• Experience with frontend frameworks such as React or Angular is a plus.

Education Qualification:

B.E, B.Tech, MCA, or M.Tech from a reputed institution.
