Job summary

Datavant2 is seeking a staff-level engineer to shape the technical direction and architecture of its healthcare data collaboration platform. You will influence multiple teams, drive large-scale distributed systems work, and mentor senior engineers with significant autonomy.

You will lead cross-functional initiatives spanning data architecture, security, and reliability, advising executives on major tradeoffs and engineering strategy to align with business goals.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with demonstrated system design mastery.
• Deep experience with large-scale distributed systems, multi-cloud architectures, data pipelines, and security.
• Strong organizational influence and the ability to align teams across verticals.
• Ability to translate strategic objectives into scalable engineering execution.
• Commitment to mentorship, technical excellence, and continuous improvement.
• Nice to have: trusted technical advisor across cross-functional problem spaces.
• Track record of balancing vision with pragmatic implementation and organizational awareness.
