Staff Backend Engineer (Web3) – Up to $200K base + equity

Amicus has recently partnered with an innovative blockchain start-up in the DeFi space that enables users to build, test, and automate non-custodial trading strategies on-chain.

They are currently seeking an experienced Backend Engineer to play a crucial role in developing their flagship application.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems supporting platform growth.
• Structure and optimize data models, contributing to liquidity analysis, PNL optimization, and performance monitoring.
• Implement and maintain time-based monitoring systems to track and analyze trading strategies, performance, and liquidity.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in backend software engineering, with a focus on data systems and crypto trading.
• Strong experience in Node.js (TypeScript), Python, and MySQL.
• Proficiency in data modeling.
• Experience working in a Blockchain/Web3 company.
• Location in North America, South America, or Western/Central Europe.
• Equity package included.
