Greylock Partners is partnering with an early-stage AI company to redefine how people interact with information and make decisions. A modern full-stack engineer with frontend focus will own features end-to-end, building intuitive interfaces that expose advanced AI capabilities to everyday users.

You'll work across the stack, integrate AI models, and collaborate closely with the founders to shape product requirements and tradeoffs.

AI is changing how software is built, but the real game changer may be how it changes the way people think about complex problems and make decisions.

Greylock is working with an early-stage AI company that’s essentially rethinking how people interact with information, explore possibilities, and make decisions. It combines AI advances, insights into human behavior, and product design to reinvent workflows that have been largely unchanged for decades.

The company is led by founders with deep domain expertise and decades of credibility in building, scaling, and leading influential technology products and organizations.

The ideal person is a modern full-stack engineer who prefers product and frontend, can work across the stack as needed, and is comfortable using AI tools to speed up development. You'll have dedicated infrastructure and backend engineering support, so you can focus primarily on the product experience.

What You'll Do:

• Own product features end to end, from understanding the problem and shaping the experience to implementation and iteration.
• Build intuitive, responsive interfaces that make complex AI capabilities accessible to everyday users.
• Work across the frontend and backend to integrate AI models, agents, and services into seamless product experiences.
• Partner directly with the founders to define product requirements, prioritize features, and make technical and product tradeoffs.
• Bring strong opinions about usability, interaction design, and how AI should fit into existing workflows.
• Use modern AI development tools to move quickly, prototype ideas, and continuously improve the product.
• Take ownership of ambiguous problems without waiting for detailed specifications or direction.

What They're Looking For:

• Strong software engineering fundamentals with experience building and shipping full-stack products, ideally with a frontend or product focus.
• Strong product intuition and an understanding of what makes software intuitive, useful, and enjoyable.
• Experience using AI coding tools and an informed perspective on how AI can change traditional software workflows.
• A self-directed builder who can operate without a dedicated product manager and take ownership from idea through execution.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate closely with founders, designers, and engineers.
• High learning velocity, intellectual curiosity, and comfort working through ambiguous problems.
• A willingness to work in person with a small, highly collaborative team in San Francisco.
