VCF integrates compute, storage, networking, security, and cloud management services to provide a consistent, and simplified customer experience.

The operations and management engineering team in VCF Business Unit (BU) is an exciting and fast-paced organization that is leading the charge of simplification of operations and management across enterprise private cloud environments. We have ambitious goals to expand management capabilities to support the latest application architectures and deployment systems such as Kubernetes, as well as enable simplified and unified management and operations of these systems to free customers to focus on the business decisions they need to make to optimize their operational cost.

In our team, software engineers are focused on delivering innovative management functions to boost proactive monitoring, insights, diagnostics, and observability to enable customer self-diagnostics for their operational continuity. You will be leveraging new technologies, solving complex problems, and working with several VCF teams for designing and delivering management features.

  • Actively participate in all phases of software development including requirements, architecture/design, coding, unit testing, debugging, design and code reviews
  • You will be driven and passionate about understanding customer needs and crafting high quality solutions to meet those needs.
  • You will contribute to complex software solutions that have resulted in significant market impact.
The Work: What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?
  • Deliver highly scalable and innovative features and capabilities for private cloud management and operations.
  • Participate in all phases of the software development cycle as part of an agile team.
  • Collaborate with the team to deliver high-quality code with tests.
  • Provide design specifications and documents for your work.
Who you are:

  • You can deal with ambiguity and drive collaboration and clarity for execution.
  • You will own and drive end to end delivery of quality work.
Requirements:
