Job summary

Lantern is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join our Architecture team in a hybrid role based in Dallas, TX. You will drive architectural consistency, scale our cloud-native healthcare platform, and mentor engineers across multiple pods.

You’ll collaborate with engineering, product, and compliance teams, design secure distributed systems using .NET Core, React, and cloud platforms, and contribute to AI integration and long-term maintainability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years in software development; 3+ years in senior/principal roles.
• Experience with .NET Core (C#), React/Angular, and cloud-native services on Azure or AWS.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical leadership across the stack and architecture.
• Lead modularization and platform decoupling to reduce tech debt.
• Design secure, scalable cloud-native services on Azure or AWS.
• Collaborate with product, compliance, and engineering teams on architecture.
• Mentor engineers and lead by example in architectural best practices.
• Contribute to Lantern’s internal architecture guidelines and docs.
• Evaluate integration strategies with Salesforce and other external systems.
• Support AI integration and long-term maintainability initiatives.
