Job summary

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is seeking qualified Staff/Sr./Principal Software Engineers across multiple US offices.

The role involves designing, developing, and validating embedded and cloud-edge software, including collaboration with systems, hardware, and test teams to deliver high-quality products. Responsibilities cover creating test plans, building automated/manual test suites, ensuring CI/CD readiness, and validating performance and power in diverse environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in a relevant engineering/computer science field with progressive software experience.
• 3+ years with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
• Strong exposure to software/firmware validation and test automation.

Responsibilities

• Create software/firmware test plans with requirements traceability and coverage.
• Design, develop, execute and maintain automated test suites for quality validation.
• Manually test customer installation and deployment in mobile, compute, and automotive contexts.
• Help establish CI/CD processes and production readiness for software releases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate reference platform requirements at multiple levels.
• Ensure OS and runtime environments meet power and performance expectations.
