You will design, develop, and validate embedded and cloud edge software, working with systems, hardware, architecture, and test teams to deliver world-class products that meet customer needs. Responsibilities include creating automated test plans, building test suites, validating software at functional, integration, and system levels, and supporting deployment, performance, and power

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering/computer science with 6+ years in software engineering.
Master's degree with 5+ years in software engineering.
PhD with 4+ years in software engineering.
3+ years of programming in C/C++, Java, Python, or similar.

Responsibilities

Create software/firmware test plans addressing requirements traceability and test coverage.
Design, develop, execute and maintain automated test suites for verification of Qualcomm products at various levels.
Manually test customer experiences during installation and deployment in mobile, compute, and automotive environments.
Assist in creating a Quality/Release engineering process with CI/CD.
Assist in achieving production-level software readiness and workload analysis.
Focus on OS and environment performance and power optimization.
