Staff/Principal software engineers to design, develop, validate embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and specialized utilities that power cutting-edge Qualcomm products. You will collaborate with systems, hardware, architecture, test teams, and other groups to deliver system-level software solutions and meet performance and interface requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 6+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 4+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
3+ years of work experience with Programming Languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.

Responsibilities

Create software/firmware test plans addressing requirements and test coverage.
Design, develop, execute and maintain automated software/firmware test suites for validation of Qualcomm products at multiple levels.
Manually test customer installation and deployment in mobile, compute, and automotive environments.
Assist in establishing QA/Release processes with emphasis on CI/CD.
Assist in production-level software readiness and workload analysis with Bring-up/Diags.
