Job summary

DeepRec.ai is partnering with a fast-growing cybersecurity company to hire a Staff-level Engineer specializing in the security of LLM-powered and agentic systems. This is a hands-on role for someone who understands how modern AI applications are built and how they can be attacked.

You will tackle emerging security challenges across LLMs, AI agents and related infrastructure, developing scalable methods to identify and test vulnerabilities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in security for AI/ML systems and practical vulnerability research.
• Strong Python development skills in security tooling and automation.
• Background in offensive security and red-teaming related to AI/LLM workloads.

Responsibilities

• Identify and mitigate vulnerabilities in LLM-powered and agent-based systems at scale.
• Lead hands-on security investigations including penetration testing and exploit development.

DeepRec.ai is partnering with a fast-growing cybersecurity company looking to hire a Staff-level Engineer specialising in the security of LLM-powered and agentic systems.

This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who understands both how modern AI applications are built and how they can be attacked. You'll work on emerging security challenges across LLM applications, AI agents and the infrastructure surrounding them, helping develop new ways of identifying and testing vulnerabilities at scale.

We're particularly interested in engineers with a background spanning offensive security and AI/ML, with strong Python skills and practical experience investigating weaknesses in LLM or agent-based applications.

Desirable experience: AI red teaming, adversarial ML, prompt injection, agent security, vulnerability research, penetration testing, exploit development or AI security tooling.

You'll be joining at Staff level, so we're looking for someone capable of independently driving technically difficult problems and helping shape the organisation's approach to this rapidly evolving area.
