Job summary

Jobgether partner is seeking an Artificial Intelligence Security Engineer based in the United States for a fully remote role focused on securing AI and ML systems. You will design security controls, threat models, and incident response capabilities for LLMs, model APIs, and ML infrastructure.

The role requires 6+ years in security engineering with AI/ML experience, strong Python skills, and deep knowledge of AI architectures and cloud security. This is a full-time, remote US position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related technical discipline.
• 6+ years of professional security engineering experience with AI/ML systems.
• Strong understanding of LLM internals and modern AI architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement security controls for AI-powered apps, ML systems, LLMs, and APIs.
• Develop threat models and security architecture reviews for AI systems.
• Assess AI-specific threats like prompt injection, model abuse, data exfiltration, and supply chain attacks.
• Apply application security, IAM, cryptography, and cloud security principles to AI environments.
• Collaborate with engineering and data science teams to embed security across the lifecycle.
