Job summary

Moveworks is seeking a Staff Security Engineer (Compliance) to automate evidence collection and continuous control monitoring across international certifications. You will own compliance tooling, work with auditors, and drive AI-enabled improvements in governance and documentation.

You will lead cross-functional efforts to map controls, remediate findings, and define future regulatory strategies in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software engineering or information security with compliance focus.
• Japanese fluency (reading/writing/speaking) required (ISMAP).
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/cybersecurity; advanced certs preferred.
• Experience implementing ISMAP, IRAP, C5, FedRAMP, ISO 27001, GDPR, SOC 2 Type 2.

Responsibilities

• Lead automation for evidence collection and continuous control monitoring.
• Own compliance certifications and audits with external auditors (ISMAP, IRAP, C5).
• Develop scalable, AI-enabled compliance tooling and documentation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to remediate findings and improve controls.
• Shape long-term compliance strategy and regulatory mappings.
