Job summary

GoodLeap is seeking a Staff Security Engineer, Security Operations to protect our cloud environments, applications, endpoints, and corporate systems through detection engineering, incident response, and security operations.

You will design AI agents and automation to reduce time-to-detect and time-to-respond, and establish monitoring of AI activity across the enterprise, including AI tools and integrations used by employees and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of AWS security configurations, logging, and tooling.
• Hands-on detection engineering and incident response experience.
• Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK and OWASP Top 10.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and tune detections across cloud, identity, endpoint, and email telemetry.
• Lead investigation, containment, eradication, and recovery for security incidents.
• Manage security tooling including SIEM, EDR, and email security.
• Mentor the security team and partner engineering teams.
