Job summary

WRITER is seeking a Staff Security Engineer to embed security into our AI platform, collaborating with product teams to design secure architectures and automate controls. You’ll tackle threat modeling for LLM architectures, build scalable security features, and lead assessments across apps, AI services, and APIs.

You’ll work at the intersection of application security, AI infrastructure, and developer enablement, partnering with engineering to minimize risk while enabling rapid, secure delivery.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in application security engineering with production systems
• Comfort with multiple languages and secure coding practices
• Strong communication translating security concepts to non-technical audiences

Responsibilities

• Build security into the DNA of the AI platform via threat modeling, secure architectures, and shaping product decisions from day one
• Own and evolve the application security program including SAST/DAST in CI/CD, security code reviews, and automated vulnerability tooling
