WRITER in San Francisco is seeking a security engineer who builds the security foundations for AI-powered platforms. You will work at the intersection of application security, AI infrastructure, and developer enablement—embedding guardrails in code while keeping our platform powerful and trustworthy.

You will define how enterprise AI apps are secured—from threat modeling LLM architectures to scalable automated controls—facing challenges like securing AI agents and data pipelines.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on application security engineering.
• Experience securing AI/ML platforms is a plus.
• Strong collaboration with engineering and product teams.
• Ability to translate security concepts for non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Define secure architecture for features and threat models.
• Establish SAST/DAST scanning in CI/CD pipelines.
• Lead security assessments and penetration testing.
• Build automation to catch vulnerabilities before production.
