Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Staff Technical Project Manager within the Security Assurance Team in the Washington, DC area. You will help lead high-visibility security compliance initiatives, reporting to the Senior Director, and act as a strategic catalyst to ensure seamless execution and alignment with our global security objectives.

This role requires active Top Secret clearance, SCIF access, and on-site work up to 5 days per week during critical deployment phases, with frequent collaboration

Qualifications

• 7+ years in security and technical program management.
• Experience managing FedRAMP/DoD/NIST initiatives.
• Ability to navigate complex, geo-distributed teams.
• Strong communication with engineers and leadership.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of security certifications, federal authorizations, and compliance initiatives.
• Identify and neutralize blockers to maintain velocity in a cloud-native environment.
• Drive cross-functional decision making among Engineering, IT, Product, and Security teams.
• Refine project frameworks to ensure security initiatives are rigorous yet agile.
• Oversee project lifecycles with milestones, dependencies, and risk mitigation; provide status to executives.
• Build strategic partnerships with Security Assurance Team SMEs and technical stakeholders.
