Job summary

Early Warning Services LLC seeks a Staff Security Application Engineer to design, implement, and maintain enterprise proxy and DLP security. You will lead control testing and collaborate with audit and compliance teams to meet PCI DSS, SOX, and NYDFS requirements.

Hybrid role across multiple U.S. locations including San Francisco. Expect leadership in engineering discussions, incident response, and documentation of architectures and procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/IT or related field.
• 8+ years in network security engineering, 5+ years with proxy/DLP.
• Experience with financial institutions and regulatory/compliance requirements.
• Hands-on with Microsoft Defender, Palo Alto Prisma Access, Netskope.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, and optimizes proxy and DLP solutions.
• Acts as SME for proxy and DLP to advise engineering and leadership.
• Deploys and integrates security solutions (Microsoft, Palo Alto, Netskope).
• Collaborates with audit/compliance to meet regulatory requirements (PCI DSS, SOX, NYDFS).
• Designs and tests security controls for governance compliance.
• Oversees health, performance, and reliability of proxy/DLP systems.
• Advises security operations on incidents involving proxy/DLP tech.
• Keeps up with trends and proposes new tools/processes.
• Creates detailed technical documentation and procedures.
