Workiva is seeking a Staff Software Development Engineer in Test to lead quality engineering across multiple Financial Reporting products. You will build scalable test frameworks, automate testing across APIs and services, and shape standards for CI/CD, observability, and release validation.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in CS/Engineering.
• 4+ years of software engineering, test, or quality engineering experience.
• Experience leading complex multi-team initiatives and evaluating AI-assisted code.

Responsabilidades

• Define and execute the technical vision for quality engineering across products.
• Set governance standards for AI-generated code and agent integrations to be safe and testable.
• Architect, build, and evolve scalable automated test frameworks for APIs, integration, end-to-end, and performance testing.
• Design and implement quality-platform capabilities for distributed systems with CI/CD integrations.
• Drive performance, load, reliability, and chaos-testing for critical services and customer workflows.
• Establish telemetry, quality metrics, and dashboards to detect release risk and regressions early.
• Mentor engineers and lead cross-team initiatives from definition to measurable outcomes.
