Job summary

Mindray North America is seeking a Staff Scientist (Imaging) to advance ultrasound imaging performance across premium medical imaging systems. You will optimize imaging parameters and transducer performance while collaborating with imaging scientists, engineers, and clinical sonographers to push the boundaries of ultrasound technology.

The role requires a PhD in a related field, strong experimental/analytical skills, and experience with MATLAB. Office-based role with travel for clinical testing.

Qualifications

• PhD in signal processing-based engineering, applied physics, electrical engineering or related field (MS with exceptional experience may be considered).
• Strong experimental and analytical skills are essential.
• Experience with MATLAB or similar signal processing toolboxes is required.
• Able to manage multiple priorities and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Lead optimization of imaging parameters and transducer performance for clinical imaging.
• Collaborate with imaging scientists, engineers and clinical sonographers to guide system optimization.
• Develop signal processing algorithms, simulation tools and software routines.
• Produce technical documentation supporting imaging R&D activities.
