Job summary

University of Minnesota seeks a Research Professional 5 - Informatics to lead analyses of genomic and clinical data, develop reproducible workflows, and contribute to manuscripts and grant materials. The role collaborates with clinicians, computational biologists, and trainees in a grant-funded, 100% full‑time position based in the Twin Cities.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree with one or more years of research training.
• PhD or equivalent terminal degree completed by start date preferred.
• Demonstrated experience analyzing genomic, multi-omics, computational or high‑dimensional biological data.
• Experience developing reproducible quantitative analyses using R, Python, or equivalent tools.
• Experience leading manuscripts, figures, and grant materials.
• Experience mentoring students, analysts, or junior scientists.

Responsibilities

• Conduct rigorous analyses of longitudinal genomic and clinical data.
• Develop and maintain reproducible computational workflows.
