About This Position
TJFACT is seeking to hire an experienced and highly qualified Staff Scientist - SME to join The National Nanotechnology Initiative (NNI), National Coordination Office of the Networking and Information Technology Research and Development (NCO NITRD) program in the Washington, DC area.
The NITRD National Coordination Office (NCO) provides day-to-day support to the NITRD Program, the NITRD Subcommittee, and its IWGs by providing technical staff expertise, planning, coordination, point of contact, physical and virtual meeting venues, and administrative assistance for program activities.

PHD or better.
High-level analytical and writing skills.
Extensive knowledge and understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Intelligent Robotics, Autonomous Systems, and related emerging technologies, as well as the functioning of the U.S. Government, particularly the Executive Branch.
PhD in a scientific discipline, e.g., physics, materials science, chemistry, biology, or relevant experience.
Extensive knowledge and understanding of specific area of expertise and of the functioning of the U.S. Government, particularly the Executive Branch.
