You will architect and build software spanning perception, planning, controls, and execution, mentor engineers, and drive scalable software practices for autonomous systems deployed in manufacturing environments.

Qualifications

• 8+ years developing robotics software.
• Experience architecting large-scale robotics systems.
• Strong Linux, multithreading, and performance optimization.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and development of perception, planning, controls, and execution systems.
• Design scalable robotics software frameworks across platforms.
• Drive motion planning and trajectory generation for robotic tasks.
• Develop kinematics, collision checking, and optimization for manipulators.
• Build real-time control systems and sensor/vision integration.
• Extend autonomy stack for mobile platforms with localization and navigation.
• Lead hardware abstraction layers and real-time robot controllers integration.
• Evaluate AI techniques (RL, learned planners, simulation) to complement robotics.
• Mentor engineers and promote engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with ML, Perception, Hardware, and Systems teams on strategy.
