Path Robotics in Columbus, OH is seeking a Robotics Software Engineer to design and implement motion planning, kinematics, and real-time control for robotic cells. You’ll write modern C++ across perception, planning, execution, and closed-loop control, and advance learning-based methods to push the stack toward faster, smarter robots.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in CS/Robotics/EE/Math.
• 2–4 years of robotics software experience in C++.
• Experience with real-time robotics, motion control, or controls software.
• Familiar with Linux development, Git, and testing practices.

Responsibilities

• Build motion and trajectory planning for task goals.
• Develop kinematics and motion planning for manipulators.
• Create real-time control and feedback loops.
• Extend to mobile platforms with localization and navigation.
• Own the driver layer that connects to robot hardware.
• Advance stack with learning-based methods and simulation.
