Job summary

OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital is seeking a Staff RN for the Stroke/Cardiac Intermediate Unit. The position is full-time day shift (7a–7p) on a 36-hour weekly schedule with every-other weekend coverage.

The RN provides comprehensive nursing care and delegates tasks to LPNs and UAPs while adhering to the Ohio Nurse Practice Act. Responsibilities include initial assessments, care planning, implementation, evaluation, and active involvement in process improvements to enhance clinical quality,

Qualifications

• RN license in the State of Ohio
• BLS certification
• BSN required at 5 years of employment

Responsibilities

• Assessment/diagnosis and ongoing health status evaluation.
• Planning and documenting interventions to meet patient needs.
• Implementation and evaluation of nursing care with periodic plan revisions.
• Active participation in process improvement for quality, safety, and efficiency.
• Operate within High Reliability Organization standards to ensure patient safety.
