Job summary

Northside Hospital in Georgia is seeking a Registered Professional Nurse to plan and provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, aligned with the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

The role requires GA RN licensure, BLS certification, and may prefer a BSN with 2+ years of RN experience and additional life support credentials. Work hours are 0530-1800.

Qualifications

• Must graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• The RN independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients per physician orders and established guidelines, within the scope of Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

Responsibilities

The Registered Professional Nurse at Northside Hospital independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES, LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED:

• BSN degree
• Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN).
• Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
