Job summary

Northside Hospital in Georgia seeks a Registered Professional Nurse to independently plan and provide bedside care to patients in accordance with physician orders and the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

The role requires an active GA RN license and current BLS certification; BSN degree is preferred with two years of RN experience. ACLS/PALS/NRP or other unit certifications are a plus. Work hours are 0800-1630.

Qualifications

• Must graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed RN in GA in good standing without limitations.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients per physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

Responsibilities

The Registered Professional Nurse at Northside Hospital independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES, LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED:

• BSN degree
• Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN).
• Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
