Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for perioperative and operating room settings. This full-time role provides general nursing care to patients and families across the continuum of care and requires adherence to the Ohio Nurse Practice Act.

The RN will delegate tasks to LPNs and UAPs, assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care. BSN is preferred after 5 years, with current Ohio RN licensure and BLS; day shift, 36 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree: Nursing (Required).
• BTLS - Basic Trauma Life Support - American Heart Association.
• CPR - Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation - American Red Cross.
• RN - Registered Nurse - Ohio Board of Nursing.
• BSN required after 5 years of employment.
• Current Registered Nurse license from the State of Ohio.
• BLS certification.
• Work Shift: Day.
• Scheduled Weekly Hours: 36.
• Department Medical Unit 2.

Responsibilities

• Assessment/Diagnosis: initial and ongoing health status assessments.
• Outcomes Identification/Planning: document planned interventions to meet patient needs.
• Implementation/Evaluation: evaluate responses and adjust care with the multidisciplinary team.
• Leadership: participate in process improvement to achieve quality and safety goals.
• Operations: perform other duties as requested; emphasize safety, quality and efficiency.
