Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking a Perioperative RN for a part-time casual role, with at least one shift per pay period. The RN will provide general nursing care across the perioperative continuum within a 24/7/365 department, and must hold an Ohio RN license and BLS.

Responsibilities include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care, with delegation to LPNs and UAPs as needed, in a high reliability organization focused on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Current RN license from the State of Ohio or a multi-state compact is required.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.
• BSN required after 5 years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients.
• Delegate tasks to LPNs and UAPs as appropriate.
• Lead and participate in process improvements and safety initiatives.
• Provide professional nursing care consistent with Ohio Nursing Board standards.
