Job summary

Northside Hospital in Georgia seeks a Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care per physician orders and established guidelines.

You must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program, hold GA RN license in good standing, and be BLS certified; BSN preferred with 2 years RN experience and additional life support credentials.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
• BSN degree preferred.
• Two years of RN experience preferred.
• ACLS/PALS/NRP or other clinical specialty certifications encouraged.
• Color vision as role-specific requirement.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care to patients per physician orders and guidelines.
• Plans and implements nursing care within scope of practice as defined by Georgia Nurse Practice Act.
• Operates within established policies and procedures to ensure patient safety and quality care.

Responsibilities

The Registered Professional Nurse at Northside Hospital independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES, LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED:

• BSN degree
• Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN).
• Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
