Job summary

Piedmont Fayette Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse for the Operating Room on a full-time daytime schedule (6:45 am – 7:15 pm). Call is required. You will provide compassionate, patient-centered care, utilize state-of-the-art technology, and collaborate with a dedicated team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Must have graduated from a nursing program.
  • Previous experience in the operating room or critical care setting.
  • Current License in the state of Georgia as a registered nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
  • BLS Certification is required.
  • ACLS Certification is required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
  • Coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff to deliver quality nursing care.
  • Maintain standards of practice within organizational policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for patients. He/she functions within the framework of the policies and procedures of the organization and demonstrates professional growth and accountability. The staff nurse is responsible for maintaining standards of practice, coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.

Qualifications
  • Must have graduated from a nursing program.
  • Previous experience in the operating room or critical care setting.
  • Current License in the state of Georgia as a registered nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
  • BLS Certification is required. Must obtain certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
  • ACLS Certification is required. Must obtain certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
