Job summary

Piedmont Fayette Hospital in Georgia is seeking a Staff Nurse for the Pre-Op area. This full-time role runs days from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm with a $5,000 sign-on bonus for experienced candidates. The position supports surgical services and requires an RN license in Georgia and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from a nursing program.
• Previous experience in surgical services.
• Current License in the state of Georgia as a registered nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
• BLS Certification is required. Must obtain certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for patients.
• The staff nurse is responsible for maintaining standards of practice and coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.
