Job summary

MARION GENERAL HOSPITAL is seeking a Staff RN for the Observation Unit in Marion, OH. This full-time, day shift (36 hours per week) position is eligible for weekend/shift differential and involves providing general nursing care to patients and families in a 24/7 environment.

The RN is accountable to the Ohio Board of Nursing, delegates tasks to LPNs and UAPs, and assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care while participating in a multidisciplinary team and process-improvement

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license from the State of Ohio or multi-state compact.
• BLS certification.
• BSN required at 5 years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients.
• Document planned nursing interventions and expected outcomes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to revise plans of care as needed.
• Participate in safety, quality, and process-improvement activities.
