Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Registered Professional Nurse to provide skilled nursing care in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, within the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, Georgia RN licensure in good standing, and BLS certification. Preferred: BSN and additional life-support credentials. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).

Responsibilities

• Independently plan and provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines.
• Operate within the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

The Registered Professional Nurse at Northside Hospital independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES, LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:

1. Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
2. Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED:

3. Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
4. Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
