Job summary

Northside Hospital in Atlanta is seeking a Registered Professional Nurse to provide direct patient care under physician orders in accordance with guidelines and the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited nursing program, licensed in Georgia, and certified in Basic Life Support. Additional certifications and BSN degree are preferred for career advancement.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).

Responsibilities

• The Registered Professional Nurse independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.
