Northside Hospital Inc. in Atlanta is seeking a Registered Professional Nurse to provide high-quality nursing care in accordance with physician orders and established standards. This role requires strong knowledge and skills in nursing practice.

The ideal candidate must be a graduate of an accredited nursing school, licensed to practice in Georgia in good standing, and certified in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS). Experience and additional certifications are preferred. It involves rotating weekend duties and follows a 7AM-7PM work schedule.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing school is required.
• Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in Georgia without limitations.
• Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) is a must.

Responsabilités

Responsibilities

The Registered Professional Nurse at Northside Hospital independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES, LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED:

• BSN degree
• Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN).
• Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.

7AM-7PM
