Job summary

Northside Hospital Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our night shift team in Georgia. You will independently plan and provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and our established guidelines.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited nursing program, holds an RN license in Georgia in good standing, and has BLS certification. Preferred qualifications include a BSN, 1 year of RN experience, and additional life-support credentials like ACLS

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed RN in Georgia in good standing.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide professional nursing care to patients per physician orders and guidelines.
• Perform nursing duties in alignment with the Georgia Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.

Responsibilities

The Registered Professional Nurse at Northside Hospital independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED:

• BSN degree
• One (1) year of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN).
• Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
